Beacham & Company Celebrates Third Anniversary
Beacham & Company, Realtors celebrated its third year in business on Nov. 6 with a private party for the company’s 51 agents and staff. The party included a catered lunch, cake, and an inspired tribute by owner and founder Glennis Beacham to all those who made the company’s third anniversary possible.
Beacham recalled the founding members who helped her start the company on her dining room table in 2006. Beacham’s home was still under construction at the time, with builders working feverishly around them. The company has come a long way since then, she said, with beautiful new office space and an agent team consisting of some of the city’s highest producers who Beacham thanked for “taking a leap of faith” to join the start-up company.
“We have 8 of the city’s top 20 agents in our office,” Beacham said.
“It’s a real estate think tank of sorts with the real estate brain trust
we have here. The best part is we share that knowledge with each other, so we have the most informed agents in the city.”
Beacham said one of the biggest draws for agents to Beacham & Company has been the exceptional quality of marketing materials produced by the company’s in-house marketing staff. In particular, The Beacham Series, the company’s in-house publication showcasing the firm’s most exclusive listings, has set the company apart from the competition, she said.
“When I left a large real estate firm to start my own company, one of the main reasons was so that I could produce the kind of marketing materials worthy of the listings we represent,” Beacham said. “We feel like we have set the bar for marketing pretty high and no other company has come close. The results speak for themselves.”
In less than three years, Beacham & Company has become the top selling office in Atlanta and the top selling company for sales of $2 million or more. The results have not gone unnoticed. Earlier this year, Beacham & Company was invited to join Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the largest real estate network in the country.
Beacham said she is often asked if she has ever had second thoughts about starting the company in the midst of the worst real estate market in decades.
“I would do it all over again in a second,” Beacham said. “I enjoy this company and the people in it more than any place I have ever been. It’s fun and we’ve only just begun!”
